March has been proclaimed as Red Cross Month by every U.S. President dating back to Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1943. To commemorate March as Red Cross Month, the Martinsville, Henry & Patrick Counties Chapter of the American Red Cross will once again hold it’s FREE CPR Saturday on March 13th at the Church at Mercy Crossing, 1978 Joseph Martin Hwy., Martinsville VA, beginning at 9am. This event is always open to the public and over the past several years, numerous people have been trained in this valuable life-saving training absolutely FREE.
